"2015 line up announced! Lamb, Portico, Nightmares on Wax and Stealing Sheep confirmed+ Celebrates 10 year anniversary. Lamb, Nightmares on Wax and Stealing Sheep are among the first acts to be confirmed for Farmfestival 2015, the festival's 10th year birthday bash from 31st July to 1st August. Joining them on the bill are Zun Zun Egui, the recently reformed Portico and Sherwood & Pinch, who's new album Late Night Endless is out this week. 2015 also sees the welcome return of festival favourites The Lovely Eggs. Nightmares on Wax will headline the DJ offering that includes Optimo's JD Twitch, Bristol's Phaeleh, Bradley Zero (Rhythm Section), Ruf Dug and Bath's very own party starters The Disablists, all of whom will grace the festival's unique combine harvester dj booth! The summer of 2015 will see Farmfest turn the ripe old age of 10 and as you would expect they will be going big on the celebrations – expect giant party games, overblown site decorations, enormous cake and massive fancy dress. The celebrations will see plenty of special events, new stages and one or two surprises which are being kept firmly under the Farmfest hat. As you probably know, every year during the lisboa fashion week , ModaLisboa gives the oportunity to 10 young fashion designers to present their collections via the platform "sangue novo" which works to promote the talent of young designers for this event. Here the 10 finalists announced who will present their collections for the winter 2015 season, during the next ModaLisboa "Curiouser" edition (lisbonfashionweek fall 2015) . They are: Banda (Tiago Loureiro & Aloísio Rodrigues), Cristina Real, David Catalán, Duarte (Ana Duarte), Inês Duvale, M HKA (Felícia Macedo e Alexandre Pereira), Patrick de Pádua, Patrícia da Costa, Rúben Damásio and Tânia Fonseca. The designers were selected by a jury composed of Eduarda Abbondanza (President of ModaLisboa), Luís Pereira (Showpress CEO and Casting Director of ModaLisboa) and Pedro Noronha Feio (Fashion Designer). One of the candidates/young designers will have the chance to be chosen to represent Portugal during the next edition of Fashionclash Festival  in June in the Netherlands. The Winner will be announced during LisboaFashion week on march 13, 2015. Good luck !

"Les projets exposés témoignent de la commande très diversifiée à laquelle les architectes répondent, souvent liée à des enjeux de diffusion et d’événements. Du building new-yorkais au monolithe transportable et transformable, du magasin traditionnel nippon aux scénographies de boutiques, les architectes tentent de représenter l’esprit d’une maison de mode et même, dans certains cas, de compléter l’univers d’un vestiaire par sa mise en scène. L’interaction entre architecture et mode va bien au-delà du seul édifice. Certaines architectures sont intentionnellement neutres. Ainsi elles demeurent en retrait des rythmes de production accélérés de la mode. D’autres, comme dans le cas de la haute couture, sont des œuvres uniques et sur mesure, éphémères le temps d’un défilé ou inscrivant durablement
une expérience technologique et spatiale."  

Archimode = six architectures for fashion. An exhibition at Villa Noailles in Hyeres from feb 22 until march 22, 2015. "The projects on exhibition reveal the varied commissions architects meet, often revolving around issues of diffusion and events. From a New York building to a transportable and transformable monolith, from a traditional Japanese shop to the scenography of boutiques, the architects aim to represent the spirit of a fashion house and even, in some cases, to add the finishing touches to a wardrobe through its mise-en-scène. The interaction between architecture and fashion goes far beyond the edifice itself.
Some architectures are intentionally neutral. Hence they remain withdrawn from fashion’s accelerated production rhythms. Others, as is the case with haute couture, are unique made to measure works, ephemeral for the duration of a show or permanently recording a technological and spatial experience.
”Archimode” creates a bridge between well known architecture firms and a new generation of architects who have united conception and production within a single locale.
